Marine to Meditator Paul is a former Royal Marines Commando, and was involved in the corporate business world for many years before living in truth through self awareness and observation.
He graduated from an intensive teacher training programme at the Relational Yoga Mandiram in Woodland Park, Colorado, where he practiced extensive Pranayama (the science of the breath), Meditation and Asana, under the guidance of John McAfee.
He has also studied yoga nidra, advanced Pranayama and meditation techniques in India with Swami Dharmanada, a disciple of Parmahansa Yoganada. More recent training and work with both Shiva Rea and John Stirk has given Paul the opportunity to explore a very dynamic approach along with a very gentle and subtle practice combining spontaneous energy movement with sound. Through his indepth studies of various breathing and healing techniques, he now presents this work for people to include it into their daily lifestyle, working with a wide range of people from business executives to housewives.
Paul specialises in working with alcoholics and drug addicts, using his own experience of the power of the breath and meditiation in recovery, with basic breath awareness or deeper kriya cleansing processes. He is passionate about his work focusing on the breath and it's connection to the truth. The Independant Yoga Register
